I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Mommy Jenna | August 26th, 2008 - 12:48 am

Okay I’m a dork. I can admit that. All of this nesting has got me cleaning like crazy! And I have a product I found that is seriously attached to my hip!

I saw this randomly a few months back and had to grab the Mr. Clean Multi-Surface Spray. I LOVE IT! I’ve told Steven we can not run out of this stuff…(I even went as far as saying I should find a place to buy it in bulk-and yes I already checked Sam’s Club!)

I’ve used this stuff in the bathroom, dusting in the living room, on just about EVERYTHING in the kitchen and it is amazing! Not to mention it smells awesome. AND it’s also a glass cleaner!

I went to the Mr. Clean website well just because and it lists this right here-

Mr. Clean Antibacterial Multi-Surfaces Spray is 3 cleaners in 1.

1. Cuts tough grease.

2. Contains antibacterial action to kill germs.

3. Cleans glass surfaces to a streak-free shine.

Alright, I’m done on my tangent about the product I absolutely love-do you have an all-time favorite you just can’t live without?

From the Quote The Walls Website,
“We are a family run and owned business who care about customer service. We located in Phoenix, Arizona where the sun shines daily. My husband and I work the business along side our two small children.

Quote the Walls was started after my search for quotes for my daughter’s room. Mabel's Labels=AWESOME!

Mommy Jenna | August 19th, 2008 - 3:15 am
School is starting for alot of kids right now. I remember in elementary school the ritual my mom had before packing stuff into my school bag. OUT CAME THE SHARPIE MARKER. And of course, “Jenna H” seemed to find itself onto everything possible. Mabel’s Labels has came up with an awesome product to personalize those items for school!

Mabel’s Labels offers Personalized Labels, Tags, and Stationery for pretty much any neccessity you might have! I’ve had fun looking through the site and the product is completely amazing! We put some of the Skinny Mini’s from the Ultimate Back to School Combo to the test. I put one of the adorable orange labels with Kelsie’s name on her Princess sippy cup and into the dishwasher it went! It came out looking the same as the stickers on the page not used yet! How cool is that? All labels are dishwasher/microwave/laundry-safe and UV Resistant. You don’t have to worry about the label coming off or fading-they are made to LAST!

Mabel’s Labels says-

We are moms who were frustrated by the amount of stuff that left our houses, never to return!

After lots of research and testing we created the perfect fun, durable labels for the stuff kids lose.

We strive to continuously design innovative labels for kids and grown-ups alike.

You will be amazed at what you can label!

Mabel’s Labels offers products not only for labeling our kids goodies but also for around the house! You can find Bin Labels for organizing the house(Perfect if you store baby clothes by size like I do!), Canister and Spice Labels for all the kitchen necessities, or even the Curbside Labels

with your address for those windy days the garbage can tries visiting the neighbors!

Mabel’s Labels has been awesome enough to offer one For the Love of Baby! reader their very own personalized Ultimate Back to School Combo!

Labels in the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo pack offer playful ways to ID one’s personal belongings – jackets, uniforms, shoes, bags, pencil cases and more. It is available in four NEW colour combinations. True Blue: berry blue, ocean blue, sky blue. Juicy Citrus: orange, lemon, lime. Tickled Pink. Pack in Black. Available for a limited time only, until September 30, 2008.

Dishwasher/microwave/laundry-safe and UV resistant.

The name on the labels can be whatever you like to a maximum of 20 characters. Names are printed exactly as you type them.

Flip & tumble giveaway!

Mommy Jenna | August 19th, 2008 - 1:17 am
Today, you see many people walking around using reuseable bags. I know we have one that is our “Library bag” for when we head out to get movies and books for the week. But if you are anything like me, there’s been points where I have forgotten the bags heading to the grocery store. Now what if you could tuck that bag into your purse when you weren’t using it so it’s with you whereever you go? flip & tumble has created an INCREDIBLE reusable bag! Not only are they functionable and sturdy…you have options in some gorgeous colors! From their site, they tell you a little bit about themselves and how flip & tumble came about!
“At heart, we’re designers. We like taking those pesky, annoying problems, and finding clever, simple, and joyful solutions. We,
Hetal Jariwala and Eva Bauer, met while attending Stanford University’s Product Design graduate program where we created
everything from kites that flew in the clear blue sky, to pumpkins that cast a scary glow on Halloween night. We graduated
and quickly figured out that the standard 9-5 hohum wasn’t working for us, so we took the leap and started flip & tumble.”

Did you know that a reusable bag that is used can reduce the use of over 1000 plastic bags in its lifetime? The 24-7 Bag by flip & tumble turns compact into a small ball that can be thrown into your purse or diaper bag so you don’t forget to bring it with you. These bags can also hold up to TWENTY-FIVE POUNDS! How great is that? Not to mention, these are affordable at only 12 dollars. Think about how much you can carry and how many plastic bags you can reduce using.

For us moms, that’s Perfect for all the things we have to carry around. I have gotten a chance to play with these bags and I love it! Our 24-7 bag is our hospital bag for when the new little one is ready to make her appearance :) Another great thing is as soon as the bag has worn out, I can return it to flip & tumble and it will be recycled!

Do you like what you see? Well you can win your very own flip & tumble in the beautiful aqua/sky color!

1. Head over to flip & tumble. Then leave me a comment letting me know what you like about the 24-7 bag. Also, leave me your best tip/advice on how you are trying to be more “green”.
Be sure that you leave your e-mail as if I look at your comment and can not find an e-mail in your profile or it’s an anonymous with no contact info, your entry WILL BE DELETED!

For EXTRA entries you can do the following (One Entry per choice)

My "Quirks!"

Mommy Jenna | August 16th, 2008 - 8:29 pm

I have been tagged by Simply AnonyMOM for Six “Unspectacular” quirks about me. It’s taken me a few days to get this but here goes!

First you post the rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks you possess.
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

Now the LIST:
1. I can NOT eat green beans! Let’s just say it involves my mom leaving leftover greenbeans loosely wrapped in a pan and a can of fishing worms left nearby in the fridge when I was younger….YUCK I KNOW!

2. I can not sleep with my back facing the door no matter what room I am in!

3. While I love our kitties, I can not stand when they lick me!! It’s enough that they don’t get to cuddle with me when they do so.

4. I can not leave the house without eyeliner. If you ever see me without eyeliner, it means I am feeling TERRIBLE! I even had eyeliner on before heading to hospital in labor with Kelsie-even though it was prob all off by time I got there!

5. Alot of the time I drive with my left leg up on the door frame or tucked underneath me. When I learned how to drive, my mom never said anything when I was using both feet so this is how I stopped myself from doing so!

6. I’d rather sit on the floor in front of coffee table than on the couch…that’s where I am right now! LOL

Now I must tag 6 people so here goes nothing(and sneak over and show them all some comment love!):
Krista at The Waggoner’s Wonderful World of Writings!
Staci A at Momma’s Gone Over The Wall (She’s up and running on blogging so come welcome her!)
Christina at Random Rambling’s
Cheryl at The Life and Times (I will get you blogging more muwahahaha!)
Susan at my2boyz
Ryann at A working blogging mommy!
