Clorox Simple & Surprising *Giveaway*

Clorox has been a household name for years that has helped families with anything from keeping those clothes bright to getting rid of those nasty germs-we all know how important it is right now to keep that flu virus away!

As a loyal Clorox customer, I was very excited to hear about Clorox’s recent launch of the “Simple & Surprising” e-journal, a cool new site with weekly guest posts from a variety of bloggers. We all know real life can get hectic and sometimes it’s nice to have some “simplicity”.

Clorox launched Simple & Surprising, a weekly e-journal written by various guest bloggers.  It is all about real-life moments offering reality-checked simple tips and prizes to pat yourself on the back for all your hard work.  The first post features fall-themed crafts to bring the outdoors in and keep kids entertained indoors now that the weather has turned colder.

Go take a look around Simple & Surprising. While you are there check out their Tweet to Win Contest to win a $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card.

  1. I like this for entertaining kids

Pumpkin Painting — Yes, paint is messy. But nothing excites my kids like the chance to tackle the paintbrush! Take a medium sized pumpkin and let the kids go to town with paint all over it. Sprinkle glitter all over the pumpkin immediately after painting (before the paint dries so the glitter will stick). Let dry on a newspaper. The kids will be impressed with their sparkling creation.

Pinecone People would be fun to create. When we go on walks around the neighborhood, Paige usually brings home one of two. I’ll have to dig out the craft box and let her have fun.

I liked the waxpaper placemat idea. I did that when I was little, but I had forgotten about it. I know my kids will love it.
