Ragu Beefy Mac and Double Cheddar Recipe

I have a confession to make. I am not very domestic when it come’s to cooking. Yes, I can cook but I am bad at picking out recipes. Maybe it’s my attention span, I don’t know. I have been trying to make an effort to try and make better meals. So last time I was at the grocery store,  I saw the Beefy Mac & Double Cheddar recipe on the side of a Ragu jar and it looked EASY.

So without further ado, I bring you my cooking of Ragu’s Beefy Mac & Double Cheddar.

Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef

3 1/2 cups water

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

1 jar (1 lb) Ragu Cheesy Double Cheddar Sauce.

Directions

1. In a 12-inch skillet, brown ground beef. Drain. Remove ground beef  from skillet and set aside.

2. In same skillet, bring water to a boil over high heat. Stir in uncooked macaroni and cook 6 minutes or until tender. DO NOT DRAIN. Return ground beef to skillet.

PB1801523. Stir in sauce; heat through. Season as desired with salt and pepper.

From start to finish, it took less than 30 minutes. Aubrey definitely loved this dish as she wouldn’t let Mom eat!

That actually doesn’t look nearly as bad as it sounded at first. I think we’ll have to try this one sometime this week, I’ve been such a lazy cook lately.

This looks good. Real homemade mac and cheese takes so long so I will be giving this a try.

It does look easy enough to make. I am always on the look out for new recipes. I have recipes I have collected over the years and some cook books. I try to plan out two weeks of dinners before I go shopping to ensure I buy the things I actually need. I dislike taking too many trips to the grocery store! I think this would be great with an addition of parsley flakes and diced, canned tomatoes (preferrably flavored). Thanks for sharing this recipe.
