Wearing Your Heart on Your Sleeve

I’m the girl who wears her heart on my sleeve.

I try and love like it’s impossible to be hurt,

although that theory has proven me wrong many a times.

I trust people too easily yet I don’t trust enough.

I forgive too easily even knowing it still hurts.

I don’t know what I want yet I want it more.

I pick up the pieces just to have them knocked out of my hands once again.

I always give a smile to those around, despite the tears flowing on the inside.

  1. I am the same way. I trust too much, yet not enough. It’s hard to keep trusting when the one you are trusting doesn’t give you reason TO trust. Keep your heart on your sleeve, but don’t let anyone take it away from you. ((hugs))

You have to really watch the ones who you think you trust, they usually have a hidden agenda, I watch who I trust lately.
